Hi,
my name is Phillip Slater and I want to tell you something that most
consultants won't.
All inventory review initiatives must at some
point confront and overcome a number of systemic beliefs if they are to be
successful. These hurdles take the form of truisms that limit your inventory
review and reduction progress by preventing real action. These are the
things that we tell ourselves to help us rationalize a lack of progress.
I call these
truisms the '5 Myths of Inventory Reduction'.
Like all good truisms these are each based on
an element of truth but they are not universally true. And like all good
management myths they work to prevent effective action. Recognizing these
myths and applying appropriate management solutions to overcome them will
help you progress your inventory review program and achieve your goals.
This FREE chapter from my book
